A recent study conducted by the scientists in the United States shows that the lifespan may be closely related to the character. It has been well-known that the character may affect many aspects of one’ life, marriage being one of them.
Then, who are more likely to enjoy long lifespan, the martial or the divorced? The researchers have found that the divorced males are facing with higher risks of death. Many males of a stable marriage can live up to 70 years old or even higher. Less divorced males can enjoy such a life span, and only one third of the divorced males can live to 70 years old.
It is even more surprising when the lifespan of males of stable marriage and males of a second marriage has been compared. It has been proved that males of a second marriage are not likely to enjoy long lifespan. Their lifespan may be longer than the lifespan of the divorced males, but is much shorted than the lifespan of the males of a stable marriage.
Although the males of the second marriage are also taken good care of by their wives, they tend to be more vulnerable to harms as they have undergone the divorcing pressure. Divorce, with social pressure, can do harm to the health directly. What’s ironic is that if the males keep single and never get married, their average lifespan is close to the lifespan of the males of a stable marriage. However, as they have got married and then divorced, they have to undergo great pressure either from their family or from their external world. As they get divorced, their characters may even be questioned.
Males with happy and stable marriage are likely to enjoy long lifespan
